Most guilds have threads like, "Post a picture of yourself!" I don't know if people are comfortable with that so I've never asked, BUT.

Post your pet photos!

Here are two photos of my parents' dog (my childhood dog) Schaeffer.

One from when he was a puppy:

He had such an attitude.

And here he is swimming with the ducks on our vacation a few years back. He didn't try to chase them or anything, just hung out with them.


I will post photos of our current dog (whom you've heard...) later, maybe.

I won't post the pets I grew up with, there are far too many as I call my parents place "The Zoo". Currently they have 6 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 birds.

My family has a cat named Finnegan that looks exactly like that

It was peeing everywhere for a while after we moved, leading to many bad pun threats about Finnegan's Wake

Mrs Mer has a unique grieving process for the death of pets. She gets a new one within 24 hours of the death of the old one (and no this is not the first time).

Very cute. Does he/she have a name yet? :D

Previous owner named her Bella, not a fan of the name but the dog is nearly 3 now so changing her name is not likely going to go well unless it sounds a lot like her old one, and I don't think Mrs Mer cares all that much.

Bella's a pretty name. Our dog came with a name too (he was 2.5 when we got him) but his name is RUFUS and so I never wanted to change it. It's perfect.

... He was 1.5 when we got him. Yes, it's been more than 4 years now. 5 years in December.
