Allright everybody, let's hear it. Great time of the year for sports... who's a fan of what, what teams, who do you get most excited for, etc, etc?

I'm expecting a lot of hockey in here with all you folks from the frozen wasteland to the north.

I'm pretty predictable...

MLB - Cubs
NFL - Bears
NBA - Bulls
NHL - Blackhawks
NCAA - University of Arizona

Also a big F1 fan... love watching tennis and golf if the people playing are right...

What else? Let's hear it. [/list]

Tennis can be interesting at times, like that one game that took over a day or so to complete. Watched that one.

I pretty much only watch games with my own teams in it, so Seahawks, Sounders, etc.
Though I'll watch pretty much any hockey game if I happen to catch it on.

While most people generally like teams in their State/Province, I hold that I have the oddest selection of teams from around the US & Canada and no real method as to why these became my teams 10+ years ago.

MLB: Toronto Blue Jays (WTF, I know)
NFL: Buffalo Bills ( Hey, we had a 2nd best streak in the 90's)
NBA: I tend to like players, not teams. Reggie Miller is a good example
NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins
NCAA: Miami Hurricanes, Fresno State Bulldogs(former college), Arizona State Sun Devils (current college)

Nope, online only student. Originally from Cali, now up in Yukon Territory, Canada. When I left Cali I transfered from Fresno State to ASU because their Crim program is one of the best in the country and it's offered online.

For me, the teams are fairly predictable:

NHL: Montreal Canadiens. 101 years of history, 24 Stanley Cup.
Soccer: Montreal Impact (Will be in the MLS next season)
Baseball: Used to be the Expos until the 1994 lockout. Then I cheered as the team was moved to Washington.
Used to watch F1 when Prost and Senna were battling it out but I find it rather boring since most of the race is now played in the pits.

That's it. In the NHL, I'll cheer for any Canadian team after Montreal has been eliminated with the exception of Toronto. I'd even cheer for the Bruins before the Maple Laughs.

Pretty predictable, grew up in Chicago, now live in Houston

MLB: Cubs then Astros
NFL: Texans then Bears
College FB: Texas longhorns
NBA: Rockets then Bulls
NHL: Blackhawks
UEFA: Inter, then Juve or Palermo - tho i wished i followed it closer

I had this funny streak going - I lived or worked in a city with a championship for about 12 years straight...
Chicago Bulls in the early 90's
Houston Rockets in mid-90's
Col Avalanche mid-90s
Denver Broncos late 90's
Arizona Diamondbacks early 2000's
Fla Marlin's early 2000's
