You should put a harness on your dog and dangle him outside your window to chase any birds away.

You could actually try getting some of those decoy birds. I'm not sure which all types of birds are afraid of the decoys, but they work pretty well around here.

When i was living in Vegas, most the one's i saw people with were Owls, also because they detour small animals like rabbits and the such. BUT there aren't many big trees there, and I don't know if you have much foliage where you live and if they would work if there was much foliage or not (people used them mostly when they lived on the golf courses i noticed).

My parents got one of those fake owls because birds kept pooping on their deck railing day after day, and since they put that thing up there hasn't been any poop!
