You deserved it, making the run back a race, who does that?! I never use things like Inner Will or Body and Soul shield boosts to run back faster...
I have avoided the desire to yank Fsob back after he activates the boots, only cause he's a fellow gnome.

I've tried twice to get Fsob when he launched from the top of the elevator towards Atramedes' room. Got the out of range message both times. =p

A priest in my old guild did this constantly. It got to the point where one of the more code-savvy members wrote a small addon that said "Priest tried to kill Soandso!" Got kind of funny when he actually had to use life grip for good on heroic ODS.
