So, I love me some Space combat games, generally where you're piloting a ship etc.

the "X" series, mostly X3 - Terran Conflict.
Escape Velocity Nova.

etc.

anyways, main point other than possibly finding someone else in guild who enjoys these types of games and suggesting ones I may not have heard of, but also
A new Indie game was just released (much like minecraft is a paid beta, 25% off from the release price etc) called Space Pirates and Zombies (SPAZ) which I have been following for a while now awaiting this day.
There is a demo available and I must say it is rather fun.

You command a fleet of ships, which you can jump between to control whenever you want (AI takes control of ones you aren't using obv)
Randomly Generated Universe, when I played the demo, it let me choose how many planets I wanted etc (max of 300, may be more in the "full" version)
