I use carbonite now - just as a backup. costs something like $50/yr

I can access backed up files, albeit not super easy, via a browser from anywhere.

My main goal is to keep files in sync from various computers and also as a backup tool. Like, when I work on a personal file at work, and I want to be able to access it from home. (carbonite doesn't help with that, since its only installed on my home computer)

Does anyone use dropbox, or google drive or anything else

what are your opinions?

I've used dropbox, icloud, skydrive and google drive.

Of them all, I prefer dropbox and skydrive in that they both provide storage similar to a folder. Skydrive was installed when I got Office 365 for our business here. It's a simple folder. I drop stuff in it and it syncs.

Google drive I found was too web based which can be great but not for what I was looking for.

iCloud, I've used just a bit so can't really comment.

been using a mix of dropbox and google drive for a while now. Drobox is great for sharing files but I like drive a lot too when it comes to keeping documents and spreadsheets.
