re: How To Apply To Business Time (Read this first!)

Because most of our guildies are folks who have server transferred, we take the application process pretty seriously. We don't want to waste our time or yours.
First, use the "Apply to Guild" button to the left to apply. Make sure you select the appropriate server for your character - it seems to default to Moonrunner and this has caused some confusion in the past. You will need to register with Guildlaunch and create a username before you can apply. Choose your username carefully because it will continue to be yours if you're accepted.
Some tips for applying to Business Time:
1) We do consider spelling and grammar in your application, and so should you. If your application is poorly written, it makes a bad first impression. Spell-check is your friend. "Leetspeak" is not. This is the bare minimum we expect from a quality application.
2) The app has some "free-form" areas you can use to tell us about yourself. Why are you a good fit for Business Time? Why should we consider your app above others? Take advantage of this opportunity. The person who writes a paragraph about himself (most memorable: fellow who liked to eat hot things and had his photo up in restaurants as the person who had eaten the hottest things) is going to stick in our minds over someone who just says "I like football."
3) Go above and beyond if you can. We don't require screenshots of your UI, but if you have them - include them.
4) Make sure you've logged out in your PvE gear so we can look at it. Check that your gear is all appropriately gemmed and enchanted.
We'll take your application as seriously as you take it. You're willing to spend real life cash to transfer and join our guild! Spend the time to make your application awesome so that it's a no-brainer for us to want to talk to you. We spend time with each application we get discussing it privately. You want us to say, "Damn, we need to interview this person."
